Change
Fundamentally, people do not change. Once our character is formed. we tend to be that person for life. Major flaws such as lying and vise remain with us, even as our lives evolve. It is age, not duty that stops the adulterer. An early death takes the drink from the hand of the alcoholic, and the needle from the arm of the junkie. A thief could come into a vast fortune, but still not be able to refrain from shop lifting. Poor character, is rarely overcome. It is more often than not a livelong condition. Only God can change the heart.

I fundamentally disagree with this. But I think we have discussed this before. If people can't change, we should all just give up and die. And besides, I've seen way too many examples. I'm sorry that apparently you have not my friend.

You know, I think this is the biggest disagreement we've had in 20 years. Thanks for the comment bro,
